The goal for this project was to learn how to develop a corporate identity. Through research, methodical design process, and strong technical and visual execution, we will present a new identity system for an assigned corporation. A great deal of demographic and general market research was conducted in order to develop an understanding of corporate brand strategy and positioning in the national and global marketplace.
The company I received to re-brand for this project was Sherwin Williams.
For the brand I took inspiration from the paint fan as the base and decided to create a city scape within the fan. I chose a ray of colors to show the adaptability of the company as well as the range in colors available to choose from. The idea for the cityscape came with the idea that you can use Sherwin Williams paint on any building whether it be a house, apartment, office building, skyscraper, or any other kind of personal space.
